All prices for rental equipment is based on a weekly rental price (1 day, 3 day, 5 day). The Sand 2 Sea crew will deliver to your vacation home on the day of your choosing and pick up on the day of the end of your rental. Please note, the crew is Sand 2 Sea does NOT set up or take down beach chairs or umbrellas on a daily basis.


how long can i rent for?

Cancellations: Renters agree that cancellations must be made more than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled delivery date in order to receive a refund. Cancellations within 24 hours or no shows (for any reason) will be charged 50% of the reservation.

While it is not mandatory, on the night or last day before pick up, beach rental items should be rinsed off with fresh water. This process helps with corrosion from the salt and sand. On the day of your pick up, please leave all rental items where they were found on the day of arrival by 7:00pm. **There will be a $50 Charge if the Sand 2 Sea crew has to retrieve any items inside of a vacation home and/or garage.

All rental items are inspected and cleaned by the Sand 2 Sea crew and left in working order upon drop off at the renters vacation home. Renters agree to pay to replace rental items lost, damaged, or stolen while in their possession. Replacement costs will be charged to the renter’s credit card. For this reason, we ask that you inspect all equipment upon your arrival. If you find a problem with your order, please call/text Sand 2 Sea at (910)-442-6246 as soon as possible. We will have your issue taken care of in a timely manner.

Our goal is to provide an amazing rental experience for all of our customers. If you are not satisfied with any of our rentals please contact us right away and we will replace your rental item or refund your money as long as 24 hours before you’re booking.

The easiest way to pay and book your rental is through our online website. www.sand2searentals.com You can pay online with your credit card. Credit and debit card payments is our prefered method for payment.

POLICIES

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED: 

Reservations are guaranteed. You will receive email & text confirmation. Full Payment is required to make and hold reservations. Each renter’s photo ID and credit card must match and will be verified upon check-in.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT REQUIRED IF YOU ARE DRIVING A JET SKI, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN $250
DAMAGE DEPOSIT. WITHOUT A DEPOSIT, YOU CANNOT RENT A JET SKI

We require a $250 damage deposit for every jet ski rented. You may use credit or debit card for the deposit.  Additional renters/drivers within your group will be required to provide their own damage deposit for the jet ski they will be operating.  Spouses & children of renters may provide only 1 credit card however siblings & friends may not
“share” a credit card or cover deposits for other people.

The damaged deposit is 100% fully refundable as long as your jet ski is returned without damage. If you have damage, the deposit will go towards the total amount for the damage. You are responsible for the full cost of damage & repairs and it is due at the time damage has occurred.  Damage cost can be up to replacement value of the watercraft at $$$$.

IDENTIFICATION:

Renters/drivers 16+ must present ID at check-in. IF SOMEONE ELSE booked your reservation, we will need to see their ID & the card they used.

RAIN POLICY:

If it is raining at the time of your rental, you are not charged a cancellation fee and can we receive a full refund if we cannot reschedule for a time that works you. If it begins raining during your rental and you do not receive your whole time on the water, we prorate your payment for how long you were out. We do not cancel reservations based on a forecast. However, if a complete washout is forecasted (raining 70% or more) for the entire day, we may cancel all reservations for the day. We contact you if this happens.

CANCELLATION:

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for all reservations. This includes bookings made within 24hrs of rental time. Reservations canceled within less than 24 hours are charged 50% of their reservation.  NO SHOWS will be charged the full amount, no refunds. We understand that life happens and things come up, and we do our best to work with you. If
you need to cancel, call us ASAP. Do not wait until your rental time to call and cancel.

ORIENTATION:

Every operator must participate in our orientation on the safe operation of the watercraft. Applicable local and state laws will be covered. It is the responsibility of the operator to listen and understand instructions and request further explanation if he/she has any questions concerning the operation of the jet skis. We want you to have a safe and
enjoyable time on the water.

DAMAGE:

The renter/operator is responsible for any damage that occurs while operating the watercraft. The jet ski will be inspected before and after each use for damage. Repair for damages will be at the renter/operator’s expense, up to replacement value of the watercraft. If repair cost and lost time are excessive, the renter has the option to purchase
jet ski at NADA value. Reimbursement for lost rental time may occur if the damage is excessive enough to render the jet ski unrentable until repaired. This fee is $300 per day until the jet ski is repaired and available for rental.

DAMAGE FEES: 

Running aground fee MINIMUM $200.  This damages the bottom of the jet ski and also most likely pre-maturely wears on the impeller & jet pump seals.  Immediate damage may not be noticed by the user. Damage to Impeller, Wear Ring, or Debris sucked into water intake — up to $1200 — occurs from operating outside of designated riding area and getting too shallow & sucking sand/debris though jet pump. Water intrusion into the engine or sunken watercraft — up to $5,000 — occurs from flipping the jet ski over and not following provided instruction on correcting. Fiberglass chips, scratches, or cracks in paint — $150 per inch — occurs from negligent operation, ie. running into things or other watercraft. Minimum $300 charge for fiberglass damage. Broken hatches, bumpers, seats, handles, throttles, or any physical part of jet ski — $100+ as quoted

**** These are only examples. The renter is responsible for the total cost of any damage
that occurs while jet ski is being operated, including other personal property, jet skis & or
boats.

OVERTIME FEE:

Late return is charged at $5/minute. Please respect that other people are waiting for your
jet ski and they're reserved time is impeded if you are late.

To rent a jet ski, you must be at least 18 years old; however, 16 and 17-year-olds can drive solo but will require a legal guardian to be present to rent the watercraft and sign liability forms. Children 14 & 15 are allowed to drive the watercraft only with an 18+ on board. Children under the age of 14 are allowed as passengers, but not allowed to drive. The minimum age for children to ride as passengers is 5 years old, and they must weigh at least 35 pounds.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

All participants must be able to swim — no exceptions. The weight limit is 400 pounds total per ski. The more weight, the more the jet skis tip. Participants should be physically strong enough and capable to climb back on the jet ski without assistance in the event they fall off. Yes, you will probably end up in the water at some point! This is comparable to climbing out of a pool without a ladder. If you have any doubt in your ability to do this, please do not get on the jet skis. Guest should consider their physical abilities, fitness level, and medical history before getting on the jet ski. Guest with previous, neck, back, leg injuries, cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, or other heart or respiratory issues should take particular caution when selecting this activity and consult a physician before participating. S2S LLC is not liable for any injuries you may take on while on the jet skis.
